After many years of outfitting and ranching the West, Brit began collecting old high back saddles and studded parade bridles, intrigued with the dark, rich, vintage leather. Out of this love sprung a creative, heartfelt journey that takes her to barns and saddle shops across the country.
Finding leather to design cuffs, hatbands and belts is no easy task! She personally picks gem quality turquoise from mines across the western U.S.A, and cuts them to unique perfection, for quality wearable art. Brit West’s lineup represents fine “western couture” and museum quality, collectible Native inspired jewelry. Squash Blossom necklaces, Custom concho belts, and Kehto cuffs will be highlighted at the Santa Fe Fashion show, alongside many exciting new leather, fur and silk creations.
