J. Ewing Designs

j ewing designsJulie Ewing has spent nearly three decades creating one of a kind leather dresses and jackets for horse show, rodeo queen, and mainstream clientele. Her designs have been worn during the coronation of five Miss Rodeo Americas. Her work has been featured in juried shows, the Autry Museum in Los Angeles, the book How the West Was Worn, and in several magazines.

She is passionate about beauty and believes each designer has his or her own sense of balance, of color combinations, and design aesthetic. Innately, her designs tend to be not only glamorous but elegant and sophisticated with underlying femininity. By blending luscious leathers, exquisite laces, beads, crystals, and feathers, each piece takes on the trademark look which Julie is known for.

Her artistic direction is now focused primarily on creating one of a kind handbags, belts, cuffs and collars. These pieces are sassy, seductive, yet sophisticated with just a touch of the old west. The highlight for her, as a designer, is to create pieces that help make the client feel more confident, more beautiful, more fun, more powerful, just more!
