Meredith Lockhart – Meredith Lockhart Collections Born of a jewelry designer and a professional musician, Meredith Lockhart, Nortonville, Kansas, couldn’t help be creative to her very core. While growing up in Atchison, Kansas, she started designing clothing at a young age for herself, inspired by the beautiful doll clothes made by her mother and a precious set of paper dolls created with clothing from the 1880’s through the 1930’s. Starting her career as an interior designer, she ultimately married a farmer and moved to the country where she kept her horses. After working in interior design for thirteen years she then started making western styled fashions for, boutiques, country music stars and rodeo queens. “Rustic Elegance” is what Meredith likes to call her couture western styled fashions with a little Boho thrown in.
