Ari South is a contemporary women’s and men’s designer. Featured as a finalist on Season 8 of Lifetime Network’s Project Runway, she now has based herself and her manufacturing facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ari designs around a woman’s full lifestyle with collections with range from Swimwear and intimate apparel to ready to wear to her custom evening and special occasion gowns. Ari’s early background in design was heavily rooted in evening gowns and costuming for stage productions, for which she always maintained an affinity for theatrics and showmanship. She believes that design should serve a purpose and have intention that lifts and transforms the wearer, while having the ability to take us all to a world we may have never imagined ourselves but refreshingly, we find comfort and confidence.
