Robin Ross-Fleming’s love of fashion began at an early age, designing dance and theatre costumes with her mother, an artist, seamstress and expert pattern maker. Robin would select fabrics and finishes, sketch out preliminary designs, working in collaboration on increasingly elaborate dresses and gowns. Robin designed all her own special occasion garments, while working as a fashion model, and set stylist, adding yet more dimensions to her understanding of the fashion industry.
In 2006, Ross-Fleming founded LA CASA HERMOSA of Wellington, Florida. LA CASA HERMOSA is a unique boutique offering special occasion gowns and dresses appropriate for weddings, charity balls, prom and pageants.
Ross-Fleming’s designs include Duchesa Couture launched at Miami Fashion Week and the Adagio Eveningwear gowns and cocktail dresses designed for Dancing With The Stars. Many designs in her portfolio have been on the red carpet at the Oscar Vanity Fair Awards, MTV VMA’s, ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, Good Morning America, NBC/Telemundo, Miss America, Miss USA and Miss Universe pageant.
Ross-Fleming has a degree in Public Relations/Marketing from DePaul University and has been a member of International Council of Fashion Designers, with a brief stint as a board member for ICFD as well as Miami Fashion Week.
