Santa Fe Fashion Week today announced the 2017 schedule of events, which includes three nights of fashion, food, drinks and networking.

Santa Fe Fashion Week will be bigger than ever in 2017 with a new summer show from June 8-10.

This year, the show kicks off June 7 with a VIP reception from 6 to 9 p.m. and at the Sorrell Sky Gallery, and continues Thursday, June 8, Friday, June 9, and Saturday, June 10, with a special Garden Show and runway shows at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe.

“Project Runway” alumnus, Richard Hallmarq, will be returning to Santa Fe Fashion Week for the fourth year. Melissa Fleis, another “Project Runway” alumnus will show her designs at SFFW for the first time.

“I’m hoping to showcase my new work and I’m just excited to be going to Santa Fe,” Fleis said. “I’ve always wanted to go there. It’s good to show your work and meet new people and be in an artistic community like Santa Fe that’s full of entrepreneurs and artists.”

Fleis is based in Los Angeles earned her master’s degree from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, where she studied under Alexander McQueen advisor Simon Ungless. She was a finalist in Lifetime’s “Project Runway Season 10,” as well as competitor in “Project Runway All Stars Season 3.”

“We’re thrilled to announce that Melissa Fleis will join us this year, as well as several other returning designers and models,” said Stephen Cuomo, executive producer of Santa Fe Fashion Week. “The 2017 Santa Fe Fashion Week will be the biggest yet and we are looking forward to making our mark with our first summer show in Santa Fe.”
