Seven years ago I started Santa Fe Fashion Week with a very small budget. Early on I had a vision of bringing on fashion designers from the TV show “Project Runway”, as well as a model from the TV show “America’s Top Model” each year to host our event. This was a huge financial risk, but I managed to bring in Project Runway designer Richard Hallmarq, as well as America’s Top Model Naima Mora I wanted to introduce amazing fashion people to the Land of Enchantment as well as give local talent access to these wonderful fashion professionals.
It makes me happy to see it all come together. I’ve attached a photo of our good friend New Mexico model Julissa Grajeda, who appeared with Naima in fashion by Richard during a recent trip to model for Style Fashion New York as well as model for the talented New York fashion photographer Charles Schoenberger.
